From WROX:
Clarksdale’s Rock and Blues Museum will close before this year’s Juke Joint Festival and owner Theo Dasbach hopes to sell the building and its contents to someone who will keep it going. Dasbach has wanted to sell the museum for several years but has only received offers for pieces of memorabilia and not the entire collection. Established in the Netherlands in 2006, Dasbach moved the museum to Clarksdale in 2004 but will dissolve the non-profit that has run the museum after the gift shop holds a half-off closeout sale late next month.
