From WROX:
Speed bumps soon will be placed in the Friars Point. Coahoma County Supervisor Pat Davis says speed bumps are relatively inexpensive to make and after Mayor James Washington decides where the speed bumps will go, the county road department will install them. Also a $1.5 million grant from the state department of transportation will pay to replace a bridge in southwest Coahoma County. Johnson Bridge, on the corner of Johnson and Stanley Roads, is being held together with timber piling that will be replaced with concrete.
