WROX Radio, Clarksdale, Mississippi.From WROX:

Mims Motors Corporation.

Las Vegas-based  Last month Coahoma Community College issued a press release with no details about the location, number of job opportunities or an opening date and WROX received no response from either Mims Motors corporate office in Las Vegas or Jon Levingston, the executive director of the Clarksdale/Coahoma County Chamber of Commerce about the plant.  The U.S. market share of electric passenger cars reached a record 2.1% last year, and as of January 2019 almost half a million Chevy Volt plug-in hybrids and Tesla electric cars had been sold.  Another electric car manufacturer, GreenTech, was supposed to create 350 jobs at its plant in Tunica but filed bankruptcy last year, owing nearly $5 million to the state of Mississippi and Tunica county and $7.5 million to a dozen investors.
