WROX Radio, Clarksdale, Mississippi.From WROX:

Three former Clarksdale Public Utilities commissioners have called on state lawmakers to oppose legislation that would abolish the CPU board and give direct control of the utility o the city.  In a letter to Governor Phil Bryant, Speaker of the House Phillip Gunn and others, former CPU board members Bobby Huggins, Freddie Davis and former mayor Richard Webster say that abolishing municipal utility commissions would be catastrophic for Clarksdale and other Mississippi communities.  Bills currently being considered by the state legislature would allow a simple majority of voters to abolish the current CPU board on the August 6th ballot.

This is the exact copy of that letter.
