Lee Academy senior Crawford Allen received a $1000 scholarship as the 20th winner of the Ronald “Hoss” Bennett award on February 21st. Three other seniors receiving $250 scholarships were Clarksdale High quarterback Cameron Matthews, Coahoma Early College linebacker Marquise Lewis and Jeffrey Fisher from Coahoma County High School. The awards are given each year by the Clarksdale Exchange Club to help outstanding student athletes with their college education expenses.
