From WROX:
The Clarksdale Public Utilities board met yesterday and although Marvin Reddick and Stanley Clark were on the agenda, carried over from two weeks ago, they did not appear in person but delivered a memo to Clarksdale Press Register reporter Josh Troy. The document, from the Better Clarksdale Foundation, states the group and CPU are not able to “achieve a fair and equitable understanding…through reasonable process” and urged citizens to contact elected city, county and state officials with complaints about CPU. The group also says it will also ask Governor Bryant to direct the legislature’s Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review committee to investigate CPU’s operations.
