From WROX:
With only three wins in three seasons, Coahoma Community College football coach Steven Miller made recruiting a priority and added 25 players to the roster on National Signing Day. Local players joining the Tigers include wide receiver Markevius Phillips from Coahoma County High School, defensive back Aikee Matthews from Clarksdale High and Kolbey Esland and Tyson Smith from Tunica’s Rosa Fort high school. CCC also landed Guy Thomas, a defensive end, who transfers from the University of Nebraska. The Tigers last football victory was at the end of the 2017 football season, a 40-0 win over Mississippi Delta Community College.
